Camping at home

Ten days now since we moved in our new home. It feels great, we really felt at home from the first minute: lots of light and timber everywhere, a beautiful and quit place ...

Only one inconvenience we still live from our luggages. Luckily i had a couple of extremely helpful colleagues who were ready to lend us some airmatrasses, sheets, pillows, 5 plates, forks, spoons, glasses, and chairs! Lucy and her husband came on sundaymorning 9am to get us started. We are so grateful for their help. They made it possible to come home

First meal home (apple sauce!), funny koala`s in our front yard, sleeping on the same matrass, Marianne`s tree house finally installed and waiting for the first visitor.

Camping is not always easy... For example when your kid pees in bed and you have no laundry machine and no spare sheets (just hope its dry again in the evening).... Or when you break a glass and you have nothing but your hands to clean it. You have to be creative, accept things as they are, and everyday you solve the issues of that day...

Saturday Tristan and i did some basic shopping, by bus, and with our luggage (i bought a vase and flowers to grow our home feeling.

Apparently our current state has inspired Tristan to design a big friendly dragon with a house in his belly. We travel on his back and always have a home :-)

And finally ... good news!

This wednesday our container will be delivered, we will sleep in a bed again, and can start unpacking ...!
