Coastal walk - from Bondi to Bronte

What a paradise....! Can't believe this is an ordinary weekend, 30min bus from home....

We started on Bondi beach, following the cliffs southwards

In this incredible pool you can swim in cold salty water while the waves hit on the border..

After enjoying the sun and the changing panorama's we crashed at Tamarama beach for lunch.

Mmmmm healthy and tasty food... one of the things which are really worth the money here!

And then, nobody needed to convince me, quick change, and Go...! We run and jumped and shouted to loud and impressive waves.

Swimming is not possible the waves are so strong that you have to keep your feet on the ground. I went in till my middle and let myself float for 30 sec, and when looking backward i found myself far away from the beach. Suddenly a life guard on a board appeared behind me, to guide me back, while swimming sidewards to get in a different current. Well, well, i will have to be even more careful next time... Fortunately the kids don't take any risks and listen to their father :-)

After some sand building, we continued till Bronte beach, where we took the bus back home. Safe and sound, and happy!

Despite of the sun screen and hat, Aiko woke up a bit strange the next day. Sick, not talking (very unusual!!) and then, she threw up... to be suddenly alright again.

So next time we must protect even better against the sun, drink lots of water and look for shadow...
