Day 3 - Yanga National Park

Ten hours away from home we start to feel the outback.... We had our longest drive of the trip, and arrive late afternoon to Willows Campground. This campground is located in the Yanga National Park.


I say campground, but there is no one near us. We see one neighbour at the horizon.


Lots of birds all around us. We feed them but no chance they come close, food is abundant here and humans rather rare.


We enjoy the silence and a beautiful sunset.


And then lighting a fire to share warmth and marshmallows.


Tomorrow morning we have a small 2 hour drive to Mungo National Park.
