Day 4 - Leliyn Falls

12 July 2022 - Nitmiluk National Park

This is a truly magical place.

Best campground ever, quite, grassy and cosy and comfortable.

The plunge pool (name for the pool at the bottom of the falls) is attractive but we opt for the walking loop. Mounting the sandstone platform we discover some spectacular views, and much more pools and cascades :-)

The water is cold but pleasant. Aiko discovers she can actually swim alone ! (with her floating device, but that doesn`t matter) A huge leap in self confidence and lots of joy, swimming by herself. The walk back is pleasant in the setting sun.

The next morning Tristan and I make a sunrise walk to see, hear and breath nature at its best.
