A big event for this small family.... Our youngest family member learned to cycle! She is so proud :-) ! And we too.
Cycling has always been special for us. We love travelling on our 2 wheels. A combination of freedom, nature, adventure, ...
• First Thomas and me, 2 mountain bikes packed with bags along Ireland's peninsula's in 2013
• Then with baby Tristan in a bike trailer filled with diapers and babyfood through the Alsace in 2015
• Then with baby Chloe and Tristan together in the bike trailer, through Limburg in 2017
• Finally Aiko in the bike trailer attached to Thomas bike, Chloe on the follow-me attached to mine & Tristan cycling on his own bike, through the snowy landscapes of Limberg (Belgium) during Easter 2021
Truly magical memories, all of it!
I started dreaming of big cycling adventures 10 years ago and i haven`t stopped. As long as the kids need to be carried along, it is a bit hard to also carry the luggage of 5 for a loong trip.
But time flies, and before we know, they will be able to steer their own geared bycicles up the hilltop. How great will that be ! Imagine crossing a couple of countries in beautiful, pitoresque Europe. Can`t wait :-)
