During our travels over the red plains of the Outback I had the pleasure of reading this inspiring book about the Real People living in oneness with all living things on earth.
Mutant Message Down Under is the gripping account of an American woman in Australia, summoned by a remote tribe of nomadic Aboriginals to accompany them on a walkabout through the outback.
Stripped of her clothes and disconnected from her culture, the "mutant" is propelled, barefoot, into the Australian bush on a four month long journey with the `Real People`, as the tribe calls itself.
Between fear and wonder, she will learn from the Real People how to replace medicine with plants, telephone with telepathy, stress with oneness with all living things.
This unusual story opens the doors to a wisdome fifty thousand years old, and teaches us to receive the generous gifts of luck, to become real, to hear the messages of nature to which we have become deaf.
The message for you and me is powerful and simple: it is not too late to save our world from destruction, if we learn that all living things - be they plants, animals, or human beings - are part of the same universal oneness.
