Today we joined an educator on a low-tide rock platform tour. She showed us that once the ocean retreats, an amazing world is uncovered for us to enjoy:
Sea stars, sea hares, elephant snails, limpets and crabs are just some of the creatures that you may find.

This Blue Bottle Jellyfish is not one animal but a congreggation of small creatures who all live together and look like one.
