Merry Christmas to you all ! I took this picture 2 years ago on Christmas day, but never saw a chance to share. This picture was taken at a bus station where rainbow lorikeets, cockatoos and pigeons were fighting over bread.... there were at least 100 birds in this one single tree. Incredible, and a rare occasion to catch them in 1 image.
We are also spreading our wings again :-)
We left Sydney a couple of days ago, spotted some last snow patches in the mountains and now arrived at the Southern Ocean.
I am so happy and excited to be on another roadtrip in the nature with little confort and much nature aroubd us.
The rainy and fresh weather (17 degrees) has not stopped us from starting Christmas 2023 with a dive in the Southern Ocean!
