Over the past 100 blog posts, you might have got the impression that we are only having fun. But most of the days are hard work. I bring the kids to school at 7.15am and Thomas picks the kiddies up around 5.30pm, and takes care of dinner, dishes, pijamas, etc every single day. (Thank you Thomas! ). I generally work late, coming home after 7pm.
On Saturdays construction goes on, Thomas works one Saturday out of 3 on the Barangaroo metro station. Luckily I don`t have to go to site, but there are always teams at work, so Saturday feels less like weekend as in Belgium.
My work brings me a lot of mixed feelings. While it demands a lot of me, it also makes me feel satisfied and proud.
On 8th of March, International Womens Day, the BESIX Watpac marketing crew came down to site to shoot a project update video of this female Project Manager, which is still a very rare fenomenon. I was the only one in Belgium and now I am the only one here in New South Wales.
Here below I proudly present you the Axis Alexandria project and team.
Leuk om jouw project eens te zien! Goed bezig sis!
