Day 1 - Heading for the Outback

The past period has been stresful and demanding, with work ongoing in the weekends. On top that, it didn't stop raining much, and the house started smelling humid.
This Easter holiday has been a beacon that kept us going, and now finally, time to let go... ! And the sun is with us today :-)
We left home aound 12pm, enjoyed a brunch in Richmond to kick off the holidays.
Five more hours to drive.
Aiko throws up in the car, a bit of extra challenge and a first laundry tonight.
The last hours are beautiful...
We enjoy the presence of the moon, and the sun set over the plains.
It is all dark when we arrive. Our tents are set up a couple of kilometers from Taronga Western Plains, the zoo where we will spend all day tomorrow.
