A car...

Exactly 4 months after returning my previous car, I took a bus, train, metro followed by a 30min walk to collect our next car in the garage. (Driving back home took less than half an hour). We chose for a second hand spacious car.

Spacious & 4WD because the purpose of this car is to venture into Australians wide and wild National Parks, where camp sites have few or no amenities.
7 seats to allow an extra passenger and have space for camping gear
Second hand (2012) because we don`t care about the looks and comfort. (No GPS, FM radio. But we can call bluetooth)
We skip the really cool old cars because they consume so much fuel, and stick to an ecologic model.

Quit an adventure, setting off in an unknown suburb back home on the wrong side of the road, the indicators switched

So exciting!

I opened the door to realise the steering wheel was at the other side, of course... Then realing it is hard staying between the line when you`re at the other side, rain wissers switching on when i want to indicate the next the turn, .... All so exciting!

I made it safe home (3x times quicker than getting there) !

So here we go on our first road trip.... ! Camping of course ;-)

It is pouring rain as we drive for the first time over the Sydney Harbour Bridge .... !

Let`s cross fingers we leave the rain behind us, as we only have 2 small hiking tents....
