On the road

So there we are, on the road.... since 14 days now.

Free as a bird, without a home, everything i have in my car, sleeping at a different places.... Our children enjoy wonderful holidays with their grandparents. Thomas and I are working again (holidays are over) and going our own ways in the evenings. We all meet in the weekends.

Pro's:

• I haven't been more free in the last 10 years. Me and myself can choose wherever i like to go and who to see, I get to see my best friends one after another

• I sleep at a hotel when i want some time alone

• I have me-time

• My mum is not only taking care of the children but also of the laundry (thanks!)

• No kids, no householdtasks, ...

Con's:

• No kids. We miss all being together. Today they even gathered flowers and sent me this picture

• I thought i wanted to have more time alone , but after a couple of hours i start feeling lonely and i long for company :-)

• It is really enoying to have a big bag full of clothes, in which you can't find anything except when taking everything out, which i don't, so i started to wear the same clothes all the time

• it is tiring to be a visitor every day

• i'm tired...
